Georgia simplifies entry rules for foreigners

February 6, 2021 at 12:30 am
From February 1, foreign citizens who have completed a full course of vaccination with any covid vaccine can enter Georgia.

Citizens and residents of EU countries, Israel, Switzerland, USA, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain (both direct and transit flights) will also be able to enter the country if they have a negative PCR test, which must be carried out within the last 72 hours. On the third day of their stay in Georgia, they will have to undergo re-testing.

The entry rules for Georgian citizens are also changing. In the absence of a PCR test, they will not have to be in self-isolation for eight days. If there is a negative result of the PCR test, they will be able to take a second test on the third day of their stay in Georgia and stop the self-isolation regime.
